What is DITCD?

DITCD is MC Till and La Dog, two Hip-Hop fiends who love CDs! We observed that many of the artists we enjoy were not releasing their music on CD. So we decided to try and fix that with DITCD. We work with artists to release their music on CD. Artists don’t have to deal with the hassle. We do that. We sell the CD on their behalf. Unlike MixUnit, artists get paid, we get paid for the service, and the customer gets to enjoy their favorite artists via CD! Everybody wins. Ready to see the CDs we have available? Are DITCD cds professionally Replicated or Duplicated?

Right now our service is strictly duplicated. CDs are manufactured and shipped via Kunaki which is a print-on-demand service. However, we are working hard to offer special runs that will be replicated with multi page inserts. That’s our dream and you can help us get there with each CD you buy today!

How Much are the CDs and do the Artists get Paid?
We charge $10 per CD plus Kunaki's shipping fee. Yes, artists get paid for every CD you buy from this service. To see a more detailed breakdown of the cost and where your money goes, see below under Prices and Stuff.

 

Why Should I trust DITCD?

Are you nervous that we are just some petty hustlers trying to make a buck? Simply reach out to the artists we work with and ask them. They will tell you if we are legit or not. We only work with artists that want to work with us and sign MOU’s clearly stating that all we do is get their music on CD and into your hands. They own their music and publishing and at any time can stop using our services whereby we will be legally obligated to stop selling their music via CD.

Prices and stuff

We sell all our CDs for $10 (Plus Kunaki's shipping fee). In addition to the shipping fee, about a dollar of each purchase goes to Kunaki for the CD. You, the artist, gets $5 per cd, we (DITCD) put $1 back into marketing and advertising the CDs, and we (DITCD) split the remaining few dollars for our time and service.

 

There is also another option. You upload the CD to kunaki yourself and sell it through your website. We can send you a nifty DIY one sheet on how to do it and you can run with it, charge whatever you want for it, and keep all the profit!

MOU (Memorandum of Undersanding)

You, the artist, will provide DITCD the music and necessary artwork for _______________ album. 

 

We, DITCD, will upload your music and artwork to kunaki.com which links out from our site. We will create a graphic for you to share via social media. 

 

You, the artist, will get $5 per CD sold. We, DITCD, will get roughly $3.80 per CD sold.

 

DITCD agrees to pay you every six months unless other agreements have been arranged. 

 

You, the artist, and we, DITCD, agree to be cool with each other and trust that we all want to advance your music as best we can. We will be patient with one another and appreciate the partnership.
